1. Who we are

Vock is an alarm, notification, and timer app for Android. It is developed and maintained as an independent project and is available on the Google Play Store.

2. What data Vock collects

None. Vock does not collect any personal data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No account or sign-in is required or offered.
• No analytics or crash-reporting libraries are included.
• No advertising SDKs are included.
• No data is transmitted over the internet — the app has no internet permission.
• No device identifiers, location data, or usage statistics are collected.

3. Data stored on your device

Vock saves your alarms, notifications, and timers locally on your device using Android's standard SharedPreferences storage. This data never leaves your device and is only used to restore your settings between app launches.

Vock also requests permission to access audio folders you choose. It only reads audio files from folders you explicitly select, and does not store, copy, or transmit those files.

4. Permissions used

• Schedule exact alarms — to fire alarms and timers at the precise time you set.
• Foreground service / media playback — to play audio while the screen is off.
• Vibrate — to vibrate the device when an alarm fires.
• Wake lock — to wake the screen when an alarm fires.
• Post notifications — to show the alarm/timer notification while audio is playing.
• Receive boot completed — to reschedule your alarms after the device restarts.
• Appear on top / draw over other apps — to show the ringing screen over the lock screen.
• Read audio files — to access the folder of audio files you select for each alarm.

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.

5. Third-party services

Vock does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that could collect data. The app does not connect to the internet at all.

6. Children's privacy

Vock does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, there is nothing to disclose under COPPA or similar regulations.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "last updated" date. Since Vock collects no data, any future changes are unlikely to affect your privacy.
